How It Works

Stack is the vertical distance from the BB center to the top of the head tube. Reach is the horizontal distance. Together they define your riding position better than traditional frame size. Stack/Reach ratio below 1.35 = aggressive race position. Above 1.5 = upright endurance. Trail affects steering feel: more trail (55-63mm) = stable at speed, less trail (45-52mm) = nimble at low speed. Compare stack and reach when shopping between brands — a 54cm from one brand may fit like a 56cm from another.
